Get to Know Me

An engineer driven by a clear professional purpose: using AI, data, and software engineering to solve real-world problems at scale. Work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data-driven systems, and applied software engineering, with a strong focus on building practical solutions that improve how critical systems operate. Previously worked extensively in the health sector, leveraging data and AI to address supply chain challenges in Tanzania through collaboration with the Ministry of Health, JSI, and Afya Intelligence. Currently applying these skills to intelligent transportation systems research at the University of North Florida. Across every role and sector, one theme remains constant: making measurable impact through technology.

  • ActiveVision Roadway Incident Evaluation: In collaboration with FDOT District 2, built and deployed a full-stack roadway-incident dashboard with daily data ingestion, quality checks, and analytics for duration, false alarms, correlations, and maps.
  • TEU Volume Forecasting: In collaboration with Crowley Maritime, developed import/export forecasting and scenario-analysis workflows across 12-60-month horizons using sparse-demand models and macroeconomic drivers.
  • Wrong-Way Driving Detection: Developed an FDOT District 2 side project under ActiveVision Roadway Incident Evaluation: a traceable YOLO/ByteTrack workflow with camera-shift safeguards, roadwork context, and vehicle-role classification; manual review found correct direction in 27/27 replay runs.
  • Stadium Events Systems Evaluation: In collaboration with North Florida TPO and FDOT District 2, conducting an ongoing independent evaluation of DERQ, Omnisight, SpotGenius, and Modii using ground truth and vendor-reported results.
